Be Good To Yourself

The core of empowerment is treating yourself like the queen that you are. You must get to know yourself on all levels; recognize your own strengths and weaknesses, envision your path. There is no one else in the world who can plan your journey for you. It is up to you to be truly honest, to choose well for your own personal journey.   Surrounding yourself with kind, intelligent people is important, but a real queen is never dependent. Independence is vital– freedom is paramount.

Being good to yourself does not mean spoiling yourself. It means knowing what you want, knowing what you need, and by all means knowing the difference. If you want a house, or a car and are willing to work hard to be able to afford it– go for it, ladies! If you want diamond rings, handbags, shoes and dresses or maybe you’d love to travel and have fun  — it is up to you to purchase and take care of such possessions. If you are financially independent and have budgeted well, covering yourself for rainy days and priorities like education, rent, and savings — then treat yourself. However, queens do not put material things before physical, spiritual and emotional well-being. Health, family, education and career must come before material comforts.

The real treasure is you. Work on yourself, challenge yourself. Nourish your mind and soul. Only by understanding, by mastering yourself will you truly take charge of your potential, your incredible destiny. Feed your spirit, provide yourself with what you need to grow and progress. By doing so, you will be doing yourself serious good, and lifting up those around you. Take care of yourself so that you can be the best you can be, the queen you are meant to be.
